Throughout the ages, the prophets of Yisra’El foresaw a day when the dominion of YaHuWaH would be made manifest in all the earth, a time when righteousness, justice, and the Torah would flow forth from Yerushalayim as living waters. In that day, the nations who once walked in darkness and rebellion will be drawn to the light of the Sovereign King, Yahusha ha’Mashiach. They will not come to learn the doctrines of men or the traditions of religion, but the Torah of YaHuWaH, the eternal instruction that proceeds from His mouth.
This prophetic reality reveals the final purpose of creation: that every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Yahusha is Sovereign, and that all peoples walk according to the righteous Way of His Torah.
The Prophecy of the Mountain of YaHuWaH
Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 2:2-3
And it shall be in the latter days that the mountain of the House of YaHuWaH is established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills. And all nations shall flow to it. And many peoples shall come and say, ‘Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YaHuWaH, to the House of the Elohim of Yaʽaqoḇ, and let Him teach us His Ways, and let us walk in His paths, for out of Tsiyon comes forth the Torah, and the Word of YaHuWaH from Yerushalayim.’
This is a prophetic vision of the Millennial Reign, a literal Kingdom age when Yahusha, the promised Meleḳ Tsedeq (King of Righteousness), reigns from Tsiyon (Zion). The phrase “mountain of the House of YaHuWaH” represents the supreme authority of His government established on earth.
Where there was once confusion at Babel, there will now be unity under Torah. The proud towers of man’s kingdoms will fall, and the mountain of YaHuWaH will be exalted above them all.
Hebrew Word Study: “Nations” – גּוֹיִם (Goyim)
Source: Brown-Driver-Briggs, Gesenius’ Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon, and Klein’s Etymological Dictionary of the Hebrew Language.
Root: גוי (goy) – meaning “nation, people, body politic.”
BDB defines it as “a community of people bound together by common descent, language, or land.”
Gesenius notes that it originally referred to any nation, including Yisra’El, before later distinguishing between Yisra’El and the Gentile nations.
Klein connects goy with a root meaning “body” or “collective,” emphasizing the physical manifestation of a people group.
In the prophetic context, goyim are those outside the covenant of Yisra’El who will, in the Millennial Reign, be gathered to YaHuWaH’s covenant through obedience to Torah.
Thus, when Yeshayahu says, “All nations shall flow to it,” he declares that the goyim, once estranged, will humbly come to the mountain of YaHuWaH to be taught, to walk, and to serve the Elohim of Yisra’El.
Hebrew Word Study: “Teach” – יָרָה (Yarah)
Root Meaning: “To instruct, to point out the way.”
Brown-Driver-Briggs: “to throw or shoot (as in casting an arrow), hence to direct or instruct.”
Gesenius: “to cast forth truth or direction, to show the way to one who is wandering.”
A Comprehensive Etymological Dictionary of the Hebrew Language (Klein): “to point, to lay foundations of knowledge.”
From this same root comes Torah (תּוֹרָה), literally, “instruction, direction.”
The pictographs of Torah (ת-ו-ר-ה) convey:
Tav (ת) – covenant or mark,
Vav (ו) – nail or secure connection,
Resh (ר) – head or chief,
Hey (ה) – revelation or breath.
Thus, Torah pictographically means:
“The covenant secured by the revealed Head.”
In the Kingdom Age, the nations will finally be taught (yarah) this covenantal Way, pointed back to the foundation of creation and instructed by Yahusha, the Living Torah.
Hebrew Word Study: “Tsiyon” – צִיּוֹן (Tsiyon)
Meaning: “Fortress, dry place, or marked place.”
BDB: “a parched place; the hill in Yerushalayim where David built his citadel.”
Gesenius derives the term from the root tsiyyah, meaning “dryness, place of desolation,” indicating that Zion, once desolate, becomes the seat of life and instruction.
Klein notes a sense of “sign” or “monument,” indicating a marked or distinguished place.
Tsiyon thus becomes the marked mountain, the chosen site where YaHuWaH’s presence dwells and from which His Torah radiates. It is both geographic and prophetic: the earthly Yerushalayim symbolizes the heavenly pattern of divine government on earth.
The Flow of the Nations
The verb used in Yeshayahu 2:2-naharu (נָהֲרוּ) means “to flow like a river.” This word choice is powerful: the nations do not trickle to YaHuWaH’s mountain reluctantly; they flow to it with eagerness and unity.
This imagery recalls Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 47, where the waters flow out from the Temple and bring healing to all creation. The same spiritual current of life that flows from the House of YaHuWaH will draw the nations into alignment with His Torah.
Torah: The Law of the Kingdom
Miḵah (Micah) 4:2:
And many nations shall come and say, ‘Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YaHuWaH, to the House of the Elohim of Yaʽaqoḇ, and let Him teach us His Ways, and let us walk in His paths.’ For out of Tsiyon comes forth the Torah, and the Word of YaHuWaH from Yerushalayim.
Both Yeshayahu and Miḵah record nearly identical prophecies because the Spirit of YaHuWaH emphasizes this divine reality: Torah will be the law of the Kingdom.
In the present age, man’s governments legislate according to corruption and self-interest. In the Millennial Reign, Yahusha will legislate righteousness according to the eternal Torah, the same Torah given to Mosheh, written not on stone tablets, but on hearts by the Ruach ha’Qodesh.
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 31:33:
For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisra’El after those days, declares YaHuWaH: I shall put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.
The Nations Will Keep the Feasts
Zekharyah (Zechariah) 14:16:
And it shall be that all who are left from all the nations which came up against Yerushalayim shall go up from year to year to bow themselves to the Sovereign, YaHuWaH of hosts, and to observe the Festival of Booths.
The nations that survive the judgments will keep Sukkot. This proves that the Feasts of YaHuWaH are not “Jewish holidays” but Kingdom statutes. The mo’edim, appointed times, will once again mark the rhythm of all creation under the reign of Yahusha.
Failure to come up will result in divine withholding of rain (v. 17), a symbol of both physical and spiritual drought. Thus, even in the Kingdom Age, obedience to Torah will determine blessing or lack thereof.
The Role of Restored Yisra’El
The Millennial Reign fulfills Debarim (Deuteronomy) 4:6-8, where Mosheh said obedience to Torah would make Yisra’El a wisdom and understanding in the sight of the nations.
And you shall guard and do them, for this is your wisdom and your understanding before the eyes of the peoples who hear all these laws, and they shall say, ‘Only a wise and understanding people is this great nation!’
In that day, the Two Houses of Yisra’El, Yahudah and Ephrayim, will be reunited as one nation under one Shepherd, Yahusha.
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:22–24:
And I shall make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Yisra’El. And one sovereign shall be sovereign over them all… And My servant Dawiḏ shall be sovereign over them, and they shall all have one shepherd. And they shall walk in My right-rulings and guard My laws and shall do them.
From this united Yisra’El, the knowledge of YaHuWaH will fill the earth as the waters cover the sea (Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 11:9).
Prophetic Restoration and Global Order
The Millennial Reign is the restoration of all things spoken by the prophets. The Torah, once rejected, will become the constitution of the world. Yerushalayim will be the seat of government, and Yahusha will rule with a rod of iron (Tehillim (Psalms) 2:9), meaning uncompromising righteousness.
The nations will bring their glory into the city (Ḥazon (Revelation) 21:24), acknowledging that all authority and blessing proceed from the Elohim of Yisra’El. The priestly order of Yisra’El will teach the nations how to walk in covenant obedience, fulfilling the original call given at Sinai:
Shemoth (Exodus) 19:5-6:
Now then, if you diligently obey My voice, and shall guard My covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession above all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine, and you shall be to Me a reign of priests and a set-apart nation.
The Heart of the Matter
The teaching of Torah to the nations is not merely about law, it is about restored relationship. It is the reversal of exile, the undoing of rebellion, and the healing of creation. The nations who once resisted YaHuWaH’s rule will now joyfully say, “Teach us Your Ways, that we may walk in Your paths.”
In that day, Yahusha, the Living Torah, will sit enthroned in Yerushalayim, and the Word of YaHuWaH will go forth unhindered.
Tehillim (Psalms) 67:4:
Let the nations be glad and sing for joy! For You judge the peoples uprightly and lead the nations on earth. Selah.
The Millennial Reign is not the abolition of Torah; it is its fulfillment in government. It is the tangible realization of YaHuWaH’s desire from the beginning: that His creation walk in the light of His instruction.
The Gentiles will not be “converted” to a religion, but discipled into the Kingdom, learning from the Torah of YaHuWaH, walking in His righteous rulings, keeping His Sabbaths and Feasts, and honoring the Sovereign, Yahusha ha’Mashiach.
When the nations come to Tsiyon, they will finally encounter the truth that has always been eternal:
For out of Tsiyon comes forth the Torah, and the Word of YaHuWaH from Yerushalayim.” – Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 2:3
