A solemn man in traditional Hebrew clothing stands with his hand raised in a “stop” gesture, symbolizing a prophetic call to stop spiritual adultery,

We have all committed spiritual adultery against YaHuWaH, and according to the Torah, such sin deserves death. Yet through Messiah, we die to this flesh and arise anew, becoming His set-apart (Kadosh) bride, clothed in His righteousness, without spot or wrinkle.

The Call to Repentance and Judgment

What Is Whoredom?

The term “whoring” in Scripture often refers to spiritual adultery, idolatry and unfaithfulness to YaHuWaH. It’s not only physical sin but the heart’s turning to other gods or worldly desires.

Definitions:

Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary:

The practice of unlawful intercourse with the other sex; fornication; lewdness.

The sin of worshiping idols; idolatry.

    International Standard Bible Encyclopedia:
Greek porneia — fornication, whoredom; metonymically, idolatry.

    Strong’s Hebrew Terms:

zanah (2181): to commit fornication or whoredom; figuratively idolatry.

zenunim (2183), zenuth (2184), taznuth (8457): words denoting spiritual unfaithfulness and idolatry.

We are called to stop whoring, to cease spiritual adultery, and return to faithful worship of YaHuWaH alone. Through the cleansing power of Messiah, we can arise as His set‑apart bride, walking in righteousness and truth.
